Visual

A creature/animal as of yet unidentified or unknown to Zoology. Derived from folklore accounts. Evidence points to both existence as a physical creature and an inter-dimensional entity. Examples include Bigfoot, Himalayan Yeti, Sasquatch, The Loch Ness Monster, Jersey Devil, Thunder Birds, Mothman, Wolfman, the Chupacabra, and many others. Nearly every American State has its own account of a local cryptid.  Cryptozoology is the study of such creatures.

The appearance of a body part floating or appearing in mid air. Most famous example occurred during the feast of Belshazzar (Daniel 5, Old Testament), when a hand appeared and wrote on a wall. In paranormal investigations some observers have witnessed faces or heads appearing briefly in mid-air.

Optical illusion or distorted view of a scene. May be related to Divergent Reality, Glitch In The Matrix or Abduction. When experienced with aerial craft, the object may appear to shimmer, ripple or look as if it is cloaked.

Self illuminating ball (orb) or spot of light. Can also appear as flashes similar to flash bulbs or lightning. Can be related to Abduction Phenomena, Cryptids, and Men In Black.

A transient mist or cloud-like form with no definitive shape. Could possibly be created as a cold spot forms as the temperature is close to the dew point. Moisture in the air then creates a type of very localized cloud or fog. In some cases this can be very darkly colored.
